In 2023, SPS introduced CoreVoices, a transformative initiative aimed at elevating discussions on Social Sustainability, promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I), and nurturing a collective sense of responsibility. Through a dynamic series of online events known as CoreVoices Episodes, employees worldwide engaged in critical conversations on gender equality, mental health, wellbeing, and inclusion.
The initiative's goals were clear: to enhance the employee experience by emphasizing the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles throughout the employee journey and to integrate ED&I milestones into the people cycle, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and engagement in sustainable practices. CoreVoices received notable recognition, including the 2023 ESG Impact Award by SPS, affirming the company's commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.
Additionally, CoreVoices Episodes earned the prestigious DEI Program of the Year 2023 award from HRO Today Global, recognizing SPS's outstanding efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion. This initiative was commended for embedding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion as the core of SPS's HR processes and policies, fostering open dialogue on DEI topics, and sharing best practices across global HR teams.
In 2024, CoreVoices Episodes continue to make an impact, with employees voting on engaging webinar topics such as Mental Health & Wellbeing, Fostering a Positive Workplace Culture, and Inclusion & Belonging. These initiatives reflect SPS's ongoing commitment to championing diversity, equity, and inclusion, driving positive change within the organization and beyond.
With over 160 participants from around the globe joining these live webinars, we're truly inspired by the commitment and engagement. A special thanks to our panelists from SPS UK and external speakers, Vlad Gheorghiu and Márió Dányi-Nagy, whose expertise provided invaluable insights to our audience.
CoreVoices is a collective effort led by our Global HR team Jacqueline Michelleto and Dorottya Darvas, aiming to embed ESG principles at the core of our people cycle.
