SPS appoints Thomas Pieper as CEO to lead next phase of growth

SPS, a Swiss provider of business process outsourcing and digital transformation solutions, has appointed Thomas Pieper as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Thomas Pieper, previously Chief Financial Officer, succeeds Jörg Vollmer, who has left the company.

With more than 20 years at SPS, Thomas Pieper brings extensive knowledge of the business, strong financial expertise and longstanding experience on the leadership team. He will work closely with the Board and management team to accelerate organic growth, pursue strategic acquisitions and strengthen operational performance. Technology innovation and artificial intelligence will be central to this next phase. 

SPS generates approximately CHF 800 million in revenue and employs around 8,000 people. The company’s customer commitments and service delivery arrangements remain unchanged during the leadership transition.

The Board thanks Jörg Vollmer for his leadership over more than a decade and recognises his contribution to SPS’s growth and international expansion.
