Walking for a Better Tomorrow

In 2025, the spirit of community and health took center stage at SPS as colleagues from Vietnam, Hungary, and Poland joined forces for the SPS Global Walking Challenge. This initiative, titled "SPS Walk For Charity - Walk Around the Globe Together 2025," was designed to promote physical well-being and teamwork while creating a tangible social impact.

The Power of Every Step

The collective goal was ambitious, but the results were even more impressive. Together, the teams walked a staggering 68,630 km. To put that into perspective, that is equivalent to circling the Earth’s circumference 1.7 times.

The participation across our global offices showed incredible dedication:

• SPS Vietnam: Led the way with 529 participants who covered 49,640 km.
• SPS Hungary: In their second year of participation, 183 employees walked 16,836 km.
• SPS Poland: Joining for the first time, a dedicated team of 13 participants walked 2,154 km.

Transforming Miles into Meaning

In Vietnam, these steps translated into a significant financial contribution to the community. The challenge raised approximately 100,000,000 VND (approx. 3,031 CHF) reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility and sustainable business practices. These funds are being donated to support several vital causes:

• Students and employees living with disabilities.
• Workers at SPS Vietnam facing difficult circumstances or serious illnesses.
• Local community members in the Trung My Tay Ward suffering from serious health issues.
• The Vietnam Fund for Disabled Children.

A Broader Commitment to ESG

This walking challenge is just one piece of our 2025 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) roadmap. Beyond the track, SPS Vietnam continues to champion environmental responsibility through initiatives like our Tree Planting Projects in Ben Tre and Can Gio, our Battery-for-Pencil recycling campaign, and our Green Mobility Program in partnership with VinFast.

At SPS, we believe in the "Power of Possibility" and that by walking together, we can move the world toward a more sustainable and inclusive future.
