SPS Wins at the Change Awards 2025

At the Change Awards ceremony held in April 2025, SPS came out on top in the Digital Transformation – Private Sector category for its work modernizing the records management solution for a long-term legal client. The Change Awards is an annual awards programme honouring the best examples of global change, transformation and innovation. They recognize people and organisations that make a significant difference in driving and facilitating change, from good practice in organizational change management to recognizing change as the key enabler of innovation.
SPS submitted a case study of its work with a leading UK law firm to enter the Digital Transformation category, covering how the businesses have spent around 15 years transforming a traditional, paper-based records management system into a digital-first solution.
While the legal industry is traditionally paper-heavy, this firm saw the opportunity to cut costs with digital transformation. Working alongside SPS, it introduced innovative technology and best practice, including retention periods, an e-filing policy and a consolidated records management platform. Since the start of the project the firm has reduced storage costs by 80% and boosted staff productivity.
The judges selected SPS as winners, noting that “the narrative of this transformation is ambitious and exciting; and the benefits and impact were robust. The plan and benefits were clearly articulated and the outcome made real impact.”
